I’m a writer based in the Pacific Northwest and a lecturer in history at Saint Martin’s University.
My previous work has supported the missions of the Smithsonian Institution, University of Pennsylvania, University of South Carolina, University of Texas at Austin, Collegium Institute, and Washington Library Association.
My own publications have appeared in Arcadia, Notches, U.S. Intellectual History Blog, and Genealogies of Modernity. I have been longlisted for the VanderMey Nonfiction Prize at Ruminate magazine. My current project is a series of critical essays on films of the 1910s and 1920s.
